Dechra appoints Ian MacKellar as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President, Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain

On 12 January 2026, Ian MacKellar joined Dechra as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and President, Global Manufacturing & Supply Chain. This newly created role designed to strengthen operational excellence and positioning Dechra for sustainable growth.

Ian will lead the strategic direction of Dechra’s Manufacturing & Supply operations. His focus will be on building a resilient, efficient, and customer-centric supply chain.

With more than 30 years of experience in manufacturing and supply chain leadership, Ian brings a blend of strategic insight and practical execution across complex global networks. Most recently, he served as COO at AgroFresh, overseeing end-to-end operations and global service delivery. His career also includes senior roles at Pfizer and Zoetis.

Ian joins Dechra’s Senior Executive Team, working closely with other leaders to drive our strategic priorities.

Ian is based in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA.
